SUPPORT A CAMPAIGN
The medical fund goes to those pets that require veterinary treatment whilst at the shelter. For example, we have dogs come in with heartworm, pets needing amputations from injuries as a stray, or from being mistreated. The fund will allow us to get treatment for these animals as soon as they need it, without needing to wait in order to raise the money.
Each of the animals that we adopt out needs to be spayed/neutered to ensure that any pet from CARE does not add to the already large problem of there being too many animals that go uncared for. Each pet costs $50-75 depending on the type and size of the animal and with adoption costs being $50-100 any donations towards these costs greatly help the shelter.
fence improvement fund
Our fencing at the shelter desperately needs to be repaired and replaced in order to keep our animals, our staff, and the public safe and secure. We currently have cages that are unable to be used as there is a strong chance that an animal can either escape or harm themselves in an attempt.
New fencing will allow us to care for and take in more animals, thus increasing our impact on the local community and animals in need.
